Stadium Tour

In September, Jim and I had the opportunity to tour Busch Stadium with his co-workers.  It was pretty awesome!
A highlight was pitching in the bullpen.

Jim made a call to the bullpen from the dugout.

This may be the only time we ever sit in the "green seats."
Here is Mike Shannon's view from the media booth.  We learned he broadcasts while sitting on a yoga ball!

First Day of School

In August the older boys went back to school.  Unfortunately, Patrick was sick for the first day of Pre-K.  On Jack's first day of second grade, he said that when he grows up he wants to be a train engineer and an airplane builder with his cousin Lukas.

Patrick was very excited to go to the same school as Jack this year!

With the older boys gone, I had some time to take some pictures of this cutie:

Final Days of Summer

As winter drags on, I will post the last pictures of summer before school started.

In August, my college roommate Amy came to visit with her family.  Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of Amy!  We took the kids to the city garden one day and they had a blast in the water.

Jack and Amy's son Bo are just a month apart in age and get along really well.

Sweet Maggie slept in her Daddy's arms.
On Sunday, Jack and Bo got to go to the Cardinal game with their Dads!

Jim takes a day off in August so we can have one last hurrah before school starts.  This year the kids wanted to go to the Arch.

Everyone had fun looking out the small windows.

Selfie in the "egg" on the ride down the Arch.

A sweet picture of Patrick and Charlie watching other visitors play ball in the grass.
Family Fun Day!!!

After the Arch, we at lunch outside and then went to Crown Candy for dessert. Yum!

The week before school started Jack got to hang out with his second cousin Joe.  These guys showed me that they were starting second grade soon!
Maggie is wondering why her mom set her down in the itchy grass.
Charlie is clearly upset about something!  I'm not sure what.  He has a car in each hand and is riding on the neighbor's Kettcar.  It sounds like his version of heaven to me.
