One Month Checkup

Jack had his one month checkup today. He weighs 9 pounds, 12 ounces and measures 22.75 inches. He is in the 90th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight (just like his mom). Here are some pictures of our healthy boy. You'll notice the band-aid on his thigh where he got a shot. At our next visit, he will have to get 4 shots. ouch!

Jack's new second cousin Caeleigh

On Friday, Molly and Jack went to the hospital to see Colleen and Mike's new baby. They had a beautiful baby girl named Caeleigh Jane. She weighed 8 pounds and measured 20 inches long. Mom and baby are both doing well. On Saturday Jim wanted to meet Caeleigh, and Jack was anxious to see his second cousin again, so we went back to the hospital to visit.

The Past Two Weeks

Jack got to meet his Aunt Karen, Uncle Lenny, and cousin Colin. They drove all the way from Milwaukee to see him. Karen also agreed to be Jack's Godmother. Jack is so excited! Colin did a great job of holding Jack. Now Colin has a boy cousin on the Kelly side! He brought Jack a lot of his old toys. Colin told us that Jack would probably be fun to play with in 3 years.
One of the first things Daddy does when he comes home from work is play with his son. Jim says that Jack looks a little different each day. He is growing a lot.
Jack's future is so bright, he has to wear shades. Jim and Jack often nap together. A full day of eating and sleeping can really wear Jack out.
Jack got to meet Katie while Mom hung out with former roommates Kim and Colleen. Soon Colleen will have a baby to bring to playdates as well.
On Sunday, we went to Jim's first softball game. Molly and Jack cheered Jim's team to victory. Jack wore his baseball outfit that says, "My first homerun."
Another father-son nap.
Jack thinks, "Why do you keep pointing that camera at me?"

Jack's First Easter

On Saturday night, Jack was given another sponge bath so he would look his best on Easter Sunday. Here he is showing us which way the weight room is.

What are you looking at? Sunday morning we went to 11 am mass and Jack slept through the entire service. Mom and Dad were relieved. Then, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a delicious Easter feast. Here, Aunt Margaret is holding Jack.
Next, Jack's cousins Katie, Bridget, and Mimi held him.

Mom is showing Jack off to Grandma and Grandpa. They think he is pretty cute no matter what he does.Daddy is holding Jack and his new Rams bear. Soon Papa or cousin Ryan will teach Jack to say "Go Rams!"

Cardinals Home Opener

Jack rested earlier in the day so he could watch his very first Cardinal game.
Jack wore the Cardinal sweater and hat that his Great Aunt Sue made for him (notice his name on the back of each). He is resting on the blanket Aunt Ingrid made him.

The Kelly family.
Jack enjoyed watching much of the game with Grandma. Grandpa held him just as he was getting hungry (or maybe Jack was just upset the Cardinals weren't doing as well as he had hoped).
