Michigan 2021

We left the day after school got out for a week in Michigan!
We had nice weather and good company.
Despite her cast, Maggie was able to enjoy the beach.

We explored the new Imagination Station.
It was a fun crowd!

Many of the younger cousins were there for part of the time.

We stayed in the south cottage with my parents.
Jack is serious about shuffleboard.
Games and music were highlights in the evenings.

The beach was a highlight during the day.
Wiffleball was played in the driveway.

Everyone loves a bike ride if it ends with an ice cream cone.
I enjoyed a walk on the beach with my mom.

Cornhole was enjoyed by all.

The kids are checking out the Grand River channel.
We tried Pronto Pups for the first time. Yum!

Patrick and Charlie liked to wear these hats they found in the cottage.
Jim and I went on a date one night.

We took the kids on a hike by this reservoir.

A boy of many hats.
Everyone had a chance on the kayaks.

Football on the beach!

I'm pretty sure there is a picture or two of me snoozing on the beach when I was little (sans cast).

Uncle Bob showed us this cool old schoolhouse on a bike ride.

We enjoyed our final day at the beach.
Jack decided to dip on the final day. He didn't bother putting swim trunks on; he just ran in and dove underwater in his clothes.
