An outdoor playdate turns into a dance show for Mom!
We met college friends at a park in Illinois. We hiked and played and had fun catching up.
Some football was played.
Some volleyball was played.

Five of us graduated from Truman.
One day I met my mom for a hike with my niece and nephew.
I made pi cookies to celebrate Pi Day (a few days early) with my Algebra students. They also got pi tattoos.
We went to Mississippi with my parents for spring break. We rented a house across from the beach and had a blast. It was the first time we had spent time with each other indoors in soooooo long.

I wish I could tell you that our lunch experience in the French Quarter was amazing, but it wasn't. We waited for way too long and the food wasn't terrific. But, it was neat to sit on the balcony and take a break from walking.
We had LOTS of time to take pictures as we waited for our food (Jim actually left to get the car before the food came because we had reservations for a boat tour).
We went on an airboat swamp tour. It was very cool!
The tour guide fed the alligators marshmallows and they came up on the edge of the boat.
We all wore our maroon shirts one day (not planned).
We saw some destruction from previous storms/hurricanes.
Once back from vacation, we visited Grandpa and Grandma. Grandma painted this great picture of Maggie.
The 8th graders and their parents celebrated their acceptance into their high schools. This event happened to be on Jack's birthday.
After the party, Jim, Jack, and I had a late dinner on the patio of a nearby restaurant to celebrate his birthday.
He opened his presents the next day.
Jack had a few friends over to celebrate his 15th birthday (he turned 14 years old but if you could the day he was born, it was his 15th birthday).
