Fun with Caeleigh and Sean

I think when Colleen and I were first pregnant, we assumed we would spend a lot more time together than we actually do.  Our lives are just so busy it seems, that we don't get to hang out as much as we would like.  Luckily, we were able to spend much of the day together on Friday.  The boys and I went to their house in the early afternoon.  While Patrick napped, Caeleigh, Sean, and Jack rode bikes and played outside.  It was a beautiful day!

I took some pictures of the kiddos.

When Patrick woke up, I was able to take some pictures of him, too.
I'm not sure what is going on here, but they are both very serious.
After dinner, the boys got dressed in their nicer clothes for a "photo shoot."

We went to a nearby park so I could take Jack's 4-year pictures and Patrick's 18-month pictures.
Here are three of my favorites:

After pictures, Jack and Patrick were able to play with Caeleigh and Sean some more!

I am thankful to Colleen and Mike for helping me with the kids while I took pictures.  I am pretty pleased with how they turned out.

Busy Wednesday

We had a pretty busy Wednesday this week.  In the morning, the boys and I met my friends Mary and Katie, who both have baby boys.  After playing on the playground at the park for a bit, I put Patrick in the stroller and Jack got on his bike and we went for a walk.  Patrick would have preferred to stay at the playground.

We stopped along the way to change a diaper, and I tried to get a picture of the four boys together.  I don't know why they didn't all look at the camera at the same time!

After the park, we went to Garrett's 5th birthday party.  It was a pirate-themed party.
Michiyo was there with her mom and new baby, Amane.
Amane has the best hair!
The weather was nice, so Jack got to ride a tricycle...
and Patrick got to play with a ball...
...and a big wheel.
Here's the birthday pirate:
Garrett's younger brother, Nicholas, has a good pirate face as well:
That evening, Jim and I went to the Cardinals game.  We (Jim, really) enjoyed a pre-game drink on the rooftop deck at Paddy-O's.

Fun at Preschool

We have had two special days at Jack's preschool in the past two weeks.  Last week, Jim got to play some songs for the preschool students.  When the principal introduced Jim, Jack got to go up to the front with his Daddy.

Then, Jack sat down with his class and watched Daddy play some songs.  There was one other Daddy and one Grandpa who performed as well.

Afterwards, Jack's class came up to thank Jim.
Today, I got to go to Jack's preschool for his Mother's Day program.
It was really cute.  The kids sat on their Mommy's lap and sang songs for us.  Then they gave us presents, including a necklace they made which had a bead they made on it.
Then, we had snacks, got our picture taken, and made a frame for the picture.
Afterwards, Jack and I went outside to the Children's Garden to play with a few of his friends.  It was a fun day!
