Sweater Weather

It has been somewhat chilly this week, which means it was perfect weather for Maggie to wear this adorable sweater and pants outfit that my talented friend Faye made!
A slight breeze caused this look on her face.

She's a happy girl.  I bet the 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night helped!

Maggie's Baptism

We had this little lady's Baptism this past Sunday on Mother's Day.
Maggie was excited to meet some of her Wisconsin cousins who came in town for the event.
We went to my parents' house on Saturday to have dinner and play with my brother and his family.  They boys had fun playing soccer in the backyard.

Papa got some big smiles out of Maggie shortly after we arrived.

Maggie's Baptism was Sunday.  The boys got to examine the Baptismal candle up close with the Deacon.
Maggie's Godparents are her cousin Bridget and her uncle David.  Since David lives in Australia her uncle Michael stood in for the Baptism.
She enjoyed being blessed by Father.

Maggie did great up until this point.  After Father poured holy water in Maggie's eyes we couldn't get her to stop crying.
Uncle David made an appearance in this picture:
 The original picture:
Maggie wore the same Baptismal gown that her older brothers Patrick and Charlie wore.  My mom made it and my cousin embroidered a "K" and shamrocks on it.  Jack wore a gown that had been passed on through many generations and had gotten very frail, so my mom made a new one for our family.
Everyone came back to our house for lunch afterward.  It was a gorgeous day and I was able to get a lot of good pictures!
The boys played in the backyard.

Goofball:

Ryan and Adam's dad (my brother Patrick) was throwing a ball at them as I took this picture.

I LOVE this picture of the boys!

Carousel and Face Painting

Last weekend, I took the three youngest to a birthday party while Jack had a baseball game.  In the afternoon, Jack got to go to a birthday party while the other three napped.  Patrick and Charlie were excited to ride a carousel and get their faces painted.

 Patrick chose a heart.
Charlie chose an ice cream cone.
A friend brought these cookies over for our kids.  I thought they were adorable, and the kids got a kick out of them!
After Jack's baseball game he showed me his drawing of a hot water heater that uses a milk jug and toilet paper rolls.  He just might be an inventor someday.

Three Months

Maggie turned 3 months last week.  She is doing great, especially at night!  She will usually sleep for one 8-10 hour stretch!  Now that I have written that, she will probably wake up every 2 hours tonight.  ;)
We get lots of smiles from her these days.

She clearly was not a big fan of the hat!
