Summer Happenings

Here are some pictures of our summer happenings after our Iowa trip and before our Hawaii trip.

Maggie went in the exersaucer for the first time.  It is the same one her 3 Wisconsin cousins used, as well as her 3 older brothers.
On Father's Day, we went to River City Rascals game.  The boys got to go on the field and play catch with Dad before the game started.

We all had a fun time!
The whole crew outside the stadium:
Jack joined the swim team for the first time this summer.  His swimming improved immensely.
Backstroke was his favorite stroke.
Our little fish:
Jack lost 2 teeth in 2 days.
Jack also enjoyed playing baseball again this year.

Jim helped coach, which was fun for both of them.
We went to our first turtle race.  Yep, turtle race.  There were not real turtles racing, just rubber ones.  The kids had fun watching.

Since rubber turtles don't swim very fast, a man in a boat had to help move them down the water.
On the Fourth of July we went to the Cardinals game.  A friend of Jim's from college sang the National Anthem.
Maggie looked cute in her Cardinals bib.

We stayed for the fireworks display following the game.
Summer would not be complete without frequent stops for ice cream.
