I am pretty far behind in updating the blog, so hopefully I will get caught up soon.
The night before Easter we dyed Easter eggs. Jack liked to put one egg in every color.
Patrick enjoyed watching with Daddy.
After we put the kids to bed, I made some egg dishes for brunch the next day. This was my favorite (before I baked it the next morning). It was a southwest egg strudel. Yum!
After church, we looked for the Easter eggs that the Easter Bunny hid in our yard.
Patrick got some, too!
Can you find the egg in this picture?
After the Easter egg hunt, I thought I might take pictures of the boys in their matching Easter outfits (thanks, Nana), but this is the look Patrick gave me:
Later, we had lots of family over for Easter brunch. Jim and his brother played a little guitar.
Michael and Kathleen joined us.
Jack and Patrick's cousins, Mimi, Katie, and Bridget came!
Aunt Sue enjoyed holding Patrick.
Patrick liked Rachel and her long hair!
Mark was able to come in from Georgetown for the weekend.
Uncle Matt taught Jack how to play tennis. :)
Jack thought it would be fun to combine tennis and sliding.
Overall it was a spectacular day. The weather was beautiful, we had good food, and great people. We are truly blessed!
