Wisconsin Weekend #1

We went to Wisconsin two weekends in a row this month.  The first weekend, I took the three boys up to visit my brother, sister-in-law, and their three boys while Jim stayed home to get the house ready to sell.  It was a mild weekend for Wisconsin in February so we were able to spend some time outside.

Ryan led the way on his bike.
Adam is on his big kid bike.
Lukas, who is 3 years old, already rides without training wheels!
Charlie enjoyed the sun in his stroller.

Uncle Patrick tried to teach Jack how to ride a bike without training wheels.  I don't think he's quite ready; maybe he will be by this summer!
Don't forget this cutie...
Charlie's sticking out his tongue at you...
Jack brought his camera with him, and it was a big hit.  All the boys loved to take pictures and videos and then watch them.
The cousins before church on Sunday morning:
Lukas:
Adam is wearing a broken ball on his head.
Jack, Patrick, and Charlie sure did have fun with these three:
We came home on Monday, and then went back to Wisconsin to visit Jim's sister and her family on Friday (new post with those pictures soon).  During our few days home, we did laundry, unpacked and repacked, and Charlie got a bath (among other things).  I love this towel my cousin Colleen made for Charlie.
Charlie likes to grab his toes, and they often end up in his mouth these days.

Jack and I made Monster Cookies with red M&M's for Valentine's Day.  He wore latex gloves and separated the M&M's into red and green piles.  I bought Christmas M&Ms after the holiday when they were on clearance.  We used the red ones for Valentine's Day and plan to use the green ones for St. Patrick's Day.

Outside in January

I started this post in January, but didn't finish it until now.  All the pictures are from January, though.  The first month of the year was pretty mild, so we were able to spend a bit of time outside.  One afternoon while Patrick and Charlie were sleeping, Jack made a kite and wanted to fly it outside.  So, he ran around the backyard pulling it behind him.

This is the kite.
After the kite didn't take off for the sky, he played with the ice that had frozen in his toy tractor.

After preschool one day, we met some friends for lunch at the playground.

Another morning was spent with the wild animals at the zoo (and with my new telephoto lens).
