May

Here is a glimpse at the month of May for us.  We lived with my parents until the last week of May.  Then we moved back home because we had a contract on our house and didn't need to keep it spotless and ready to show all the time.

Patrick decided his boots were needed to play outside one morning.
Jack is showing off his age.
They get along pretty well most of the time.
One day I took some pictures of the boys in the room where Jim and I stayed at my parents' house.

Brotherly love:

This one's a little blurry, but I love it.
Daddy and Jack practicing baseball:
Jack and Patrick were holding hands on their own.  It was so cute, I had to get a picture!

I went to a Mother's Day program at Jack's preschool.  It was really sweet.  They sang songs for us, we enjoyed snacks together, and they had some papers for us.
There were hand gestures for many of the songs.
Jack played the triangle.
He also played this instrument.

Skinamarinky dinky dink
Skinamarinka doo,
I LOVE YOU!

Jack made the flower pin I am wearing.
Jack with his teacher.  We really enjoyed her this year!
Below you will find the "questionnaire" Jack answered prior to the Mother's Day program.  I think my favorite answer is that I am 16 years old!

Another day at preschool, they had their own Olympic Games.  Jack's class was the Orange Team.  Everyone received gold medals, and the parents were invited to the Olympic parade.

There is so much to do at the new house that I find it hard to justify sitting at the computer to update the blog.  I hope to soon.  For now, here is a picture from this morning of Patrick right after he (finally) got his hair cut.

April

Here is a glimpse at the month of April for the Kellys this year.

We met some friends at an Easter egg hunt one mild Saturday morning before Easter.  The Easter Bunny made an appearance, too!  We planned to meet another family, and ended up seeing three additional families we knew.  I guess it was a pretty popular hunt.

When we got home (and by home I mean back to my parents' house where we were living at the time), we colored our own Easter eggs.

While Patrick and Charlie napped, my friend Jenni and I took Jack to another Easter egg hunt.  I didn't bring my camera, though.  Jack rode his bike (which he is a pro at now).  On Easter morning, the kids found the eggs that the Easter Bunny left, along with some other goodies.  The boys were wearing their Christmas pjs.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for brunch, and found more eggs!

Patrick was excited to toss the football with his cousins.

In the afternoon, we celebrated Easter at my Aunt Barbara's house.  We played badminton and other yard games.  We were excited for the nice weather!

One nice thing about staying at my parents' house is that they were always willing to help with the kids.  Frequently Nana would read bedtime stories.
My friend Shanna and I took our 4 kids to a Cardinals game one afternoon.  She drove with her daughter, and I took my 3 boys downtown on the MetroLink.  We had a lot of fun and the kids were very well-behaved!

Jack's good buddy Andrew turned 5 and had a fun birthday party.  Our friend Joe was the magician and the kids loved his show!

Joe made a balloon giraffe for Jack.
Jack started tee ball with his new school.  It was a nice chance for us to meet some of the kids who will be in his class this fall, as well as their parents.

Next up, an update from the month of May.
