April 2021

At the beginning of April, we traveled to Jefferson City for me to get my second dose of the vaccine. We stopped at Shakespeare's Pizza in Columbia for lunch.
After lunch, we went for a short hike at Three Creeks Conservation Area.
Jim and the kids waited while I got my shot. Then, we went to the Capitol to explore.
We stayed in a hotel with a swimming pool. The kids had a lot of fun. It was also our 16 year anniversary. We know how to celebrate! The next morning, we stopped at Central Dairy for a sweet treat before heading home.

On Easter morning, the kids waited at the top of the stairs for the OK to come hunt for eggs.
Since the weather was so nice, the Easter Bunny hid the eggs outside this year.
We celebrated Easter at my parents' house.
Jim took the kids to a driving range one afternoon. Check out that form!
I love this shirt Jack got for his birthday from my brother Patrick's family.
The kids got to wear Cardinals gear on the day of the home opener.

Jim got to go to the home opener with his good friend Tim.
We participated in the annual Women's Trivia Night via zoom this year from my patio.
The boys were excited for the Pinewood Derby.

It was the final year for these 5th graders.

Charlie and Patrick with their bling.
A member of our running group did a full marathon! The rest of us were happy to support her with signs.

While the kids were in school, Jim and I enjoyed a long bike ride together.
Jack was confirmed in April.
His Confirmation name is Joseph.

He chose his Aunt Margaret as his sponsor.

I got a picture with the middle school math teacher I work with.

Jim catches with Patrick in the front yard before a baseball game.

The much-anticipated Daddy-Daughter Dance occurred in our home again this year.

Maggie planned the whole night out.
Jim took her out for ice cream at the end of the night.
Sometimes my running group will meet on a patio and do a workout instead of a run.
Jim and his friend Jeff ran a half mile loop for 2 hours! They totaled over 14 miles!
I can't remember the details of this picture, but Jim donned Charlie's jacket at pickup. Hilarious!
