Halloween

Halloween was much-anticipated this year due to the awesome costumes my mom made for the boys.  Nana had the great idea to make them Angry Birds costumes!  Jack was the red bird, Patrick the yellow bird, and Charlie the blue bird.  They were adorable!

Our first Halloween activity was Trunk or Treat at Jack's school.  The kids got to go from car to car collecting candy.  I took them, and their friend Ariel, down one row while Jim and Ariel's Dad handed out candy at our car, and then Jim took them down the second row.  The kids had fun, but Jim is not so sure he wants to do it again.
I took Patrick, Charlie, and Alexa, who was visiting from AZ, to the Magic House for their Halloween morning.  Most kids were wearing costumes, but since Alexa didn't have hers and the Angry Bird costumes are somewhat bulky, we just wore regular clothes.  Check out the big bubble!
All three kids wanted to "drive" the construction truck.
The sand table is always fun.
These pals had a blast together!
On Halloween, I went up to Jack's school for the Halloween parade.  The weather was yucky so they had it in the gym instead of outside.  Our red Angry Bird was excited to see me!
That night, it poured rain.  We weren't sure if or when it was going to let up.  Eventually, we decided to grab umbrellas and just go to the houses on our block.  The birds were excited!
