March

March was a busy month.  At the beginning of the month Jim took the boys to a Billiken basketball game.
Then Jim and I went to a Bruce Springsteen concert.
He completely rocked!  He played over 3 hours straight, without a break!
Maggie has become quite a fan of Darth Vader!
Instead of going out of town for spring break, we decided to have a staycation.  One nice day we met Nana and Rory at the zoo.

Patrick is just monkeying around at the Children's Zoo.

Another day we went to the Science Center.  The kids love to look through the floor at the cars on the highway below.

They boys and Jack's friend built the Arch!
St. Patrick's Day was during Spring Break.  We started our day at the zoo with Nana and Papa.

It was a beautiful day!

Then we went to the parade.  We met up with Jim's grade school friend.
A picture with the Grand Marshall.
We met up with family and had a great time!
The kids caught a lot of beads.

The boys with their beads, and a photobomber.

Later we visited Grandma and Grandpa.  Maggie got to sit in Grandpa's lap for a story.
At the end of spring break, we went to visit my college roommate to celebrate her birthday.  The kids had fun together,

Amy's son and Jack are just a month apart.

Our other college friends Dave and Joslyn came with their kids.  Lots of kids, lots of fun!
The girls...
Dave, Amy, and I all lived in the same dorm freshman year.
Before Easter, we decorated eggs.

Jim is the only one who likes to eat hard boiled eggs.  So, I only made 12 for the kids to decorate.  I didn't want to throw a bunch away.
Jack's birthday was the day before Easter.  The night before his birthday he had his good friend spend the night and we celebrated early with some cupcakes.
We had the family over on his birthday to celebrate.

After church on Easter morning, we found the eggs the Easter Bunny hid.
I made cookies to take to Jim's brother's house.
My mom made Maggie's Easter dress.  She was not too happy about getting her picture taken.
When I let her swing, I got a big smile!
Happy Easter!

The kids got to find more eggs at Uncle Paul and Aunt Margaret's house.
