April

April started off with a friend birthday party for Jack and another boy in his class at an indoor aquatic center.

The wave pool was a hit!  I was a little nervous and very glad Jim got in the pool to keep an eye on the boys.

We celebrated our 11th anniversary with a trip to the bank to see Fredbird!

He was a hit with all the kids!

There was also a very talented balloon artist!

That evening Jim and I enjoyed a night out (at a work function).

Random picture after church one Sunday:

My Godson, Mark, was in town briefly and stopped by to visit. The kids wasted no time climbing into his lap and asking him to read to them.

Jim ran in another half marathon.  I brought the kids down to watch and we saw Batman!

It was a little chilly so we brought blankets.

He ran his best half marathon yet!  All his hard work paid off!

We were excited for Cardinals day at school.  Maggie wore a cute skirt Nana made for her, but wouldn't stand still for the picture.

I was able to get a picture of her in the car, though.

One Friday after school Jack and Patrick both had a friend over and we went to this cool playground.

Patrick played tee ball this spring.  He was impressive!

I love those missing front teeth!

Both the older boys ran track this spring, too.  Patrick is in lane 3 in this picture.

Before church another Sunday I had to opportunity to take some pictures of this cute girl.

When the weather warmed up, the kids spent a lot of time outside making nature discoveries.

At the end of April, our church has their annual spring festival.  A lot of fun was had on the rides.  I got to go on the ferris wheel with Patrick and Charlie.
