Jack and Patrick had many opportunities to wear their Halloween costumes this year. First, they wore them at the Halloween party we went to the weekend before Halloween (pictures in an earlier post). The Monday before Halloween, I took Jack and Andrew to a Halloween morning at the Magic House. Andrew's mom stayed home with their baby Evan and Patrick while he napped. Andrew was Lightning McQueen from the movie Cars.
A Clifford-sized donut:Clifford worked under the car.
As you can see in this picture, we encountered another Clifford. Jack is the one on the left.
Princess Margo met us!
Lightning McQueen checked the fluid levels in this car's engine.
Lots of kids came up to Jack and were excited to see Clifford. Jack was not excited about all the attention. On Wednesday, we met some friends at a pumpkin farm.
Patrick was popular with a group of kids who were visiting the farm with their daycare. This sweet girl wanted to sit with him.
A number of the kids then came up and rubbed his hair.
Jack and Ben climbed to the top of this haystack.
He is such a happy guy:
Jack really liked these swing-zipline things.
Here is a group shot with many of the kiddos (Jack is actually behind one of the moms, but Patrick is in this picture).
On Thursday, Jack's preschool had their Halloween Parade. Here is a picture of Jack's class in their costumes.
The parade:Jack is sitting with his class doing "open, shut them."
On Thursday night we went to Boo at the Zoo.
Our little bumblebee was pretty tired.
Isn't he sweet?
On Saturday morning, our neighbors organized a Halloween parade and party. The kids had a lot of fun.
On Sunday, Halloween evening, we carried on the tradition of having the grandparents over for dinner and trick-or-treating. Jack's joke this year was "What's on top of a dog house?" What you say? "A woof!" For those of you not from St. Louis, in St. Louis you have to tell a joke before you get candy.
I decided to take a few pictures of the boys before we went trick-or-treating. Jack is a big goofball:Papa carried Clifford at the end of the night.
