Enjoying the Great Outdoors

We are enjoying the cooler temperatures by spending a lot of time outside. 

Last Friday we went on a picnic with some of my friends from high school.  Patrick was ready to eat.

 Janie should know better.  I am going to post her picture on the blog, so wouldn't it be better if her hand wasn't covering her face?

 After lunch, the kids enjoyed playing on the playground while the moms visited with each other.

 Lily loves her little brother.  I think William is still not so sure of her, though.

On Saturday, we went to a farm that belongs to one of Jim's co-workers.  We had a good time, and enjoyed this horse-drawn ride.

Jack played with this ball.  I am not sure what he is doing here, but he also enjoyed kicking it back and forth with a couple other kids.

I tried to get a couple fall-themed photos.

 Sometimes they crack each other up!

On Monday, we met our friends' new baby, Evan.  His big brother, Andrew, is very proud!

Yesterday, Jack's friends came over to play in the afternoon.

 Later, we went to Mimi's last tennis match.  Aunt Margaret was there, too!

 Patrick's gentle "fives" were cracking Aunt Margaret up.

 After the match, I took some pictures before we left the park.  They are mostly of Patrick because I needed a picture to put on his birthday party invitation.  I can't believe he will be ONE in 3 weeks!
